The sculpture here described as the Pachyderm is one of several sculptures commissioned by Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, Maryland.  The sculpturors were choosen by the Friends of Quiet Waters Park from those who competed from all parts of the United States.  Jeremy Welsh was one of the few sculptors chosen. The Pachyderm sits in a grassy knoll on the right, just before the turnaround at the back of the park.
